Prof. Yodi Mahendradhata, MD, MSc, PhD, FRSPH is Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia, where he also serves as Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management. He earned his medical degree from UGM, a Master's in International Health through the TropEd network, and a PhD in Medical Science from the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp and Ghent University, Belgium.
His career at UGM spans more than two decades, specializing in health systems, implementation research, tuberculosis control, and pandemic preparedness. He has served as Commissioner for the Lancet Commission for Pandemic Preparedness, and chairs the Indonesia One Health University Network.
Prof. Mahendradhata has published extensively in leading peer-reviewed journals, including The Lancet, BMJ, and BMJ Global Health, with a strong Scopus H-index reflecting the wide influence of his research. He also serves on several international advisory bodies, including WHO and Lancet commissions.

Prof. Jarir At Thobari, MD, D.Pharm., PhD, is Professor of Pharmacology and Epidemiology at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and Director of the Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit (CE&BU).
He is Co-Lead of Cochrane Indonesia and President of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance Indonesia (ISoP-Indonesia). He also serves as Co-Chair of the Asia Pacific Vaccine Research Network (APVRN), and is a member of Indonesia's National Immunization Committee (KIN) and National Health Technology Assessment Committee (KPTK).
As a trial coordinator and principal investigator, he has led numerous clinical trials and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) studies on vaccines for rotavirus, typhoid, dengue, tuberculosis, and malaria. His expertise spans vaccine development, infectious diseases, pharmacovigilance, and evidence-based policymaking. He has published more than 100 scientific articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Beyond his research and policy work, he is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of global health researchers and strengthening regional research capacity.

Indri Rooslamiati Supriadi, Apt., MSc is Director of the Center for Biomedical and Health Genomics and the Indonesia Clinical Research Center (INA-CRC) at the Ministry of Health of Indonesia. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy with pharmacist certification from the University of Pancasila, a Master of Research from the University of Charles Darwin, and is currently a PhD candidate at Utrecht University in the Netherlands.
With nearly a decade at the Ministry of Health, she now serves as Director, having previously held roles as Team Leader of the Health Technology and Biomedical Genome Science Initiative and Head of the Healthcare Unit (BGSi). She also serves on the Working Group on the Utilization of Artificial Intelligence in the Health Sector.
Her work focuses on clinical trials, infection prevention and control, and biomedical research. She has published in journals including The Lancet and Antimicrobial Resistance & Infection Control.

With extensive experience across the clinical research ecosystem, her career at CRM has included roles in research ethics administration, business development, and corporate communications, progressing from Assistant Manager of the Medical Research & Ethics Committee to her current position. She also leads CRM Trial Connect, Southeast Asia's largest clinical research gathering, and an ASEAN initiative focused on regional collaboration in industry-sponsored clinical research.
Her work centers on stakeholder engagement, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem development, working closely with pharmaceutical companies, Contract Research Organizations, government agencies, healthcare institutions, and patient organizations to advance clinical research in Malaysia and across the region.

Over the course of her career, she has performed clinical trial monitoring across a wide range of therapeutic areas in multiple countries, developing expertise in clinical operations and regulatory compliance.
Beyond her operational role, she is an advocate for continuous improvement of the clinical research ecosystem, striving to facilitate global clinical trials in Indonesia and around the world.

Professor Fiona Russell is Professorial Fellow and Senior Principal Research Fellow at the Centre for International Child Health, Department of Paediatrics, The University of Melbourne, and Group Leader for Asia-Pacific Health Research at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute. She is a paediatrician with a PhD in infectious diseases epidemiology and vaccinology.
For more than two decades, her work has generated evidence for maternal, child, and immunization policy in low- and middle-income countries, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. She leads the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council's Centre for Research Excellence in Pneumococcal Disease Control in the Asia-Pacific, and established the Asia-Pacific Vaccine Research Network (APVRN) in partnership with the Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). She was also a leading advisor on COVID-19 policy for schools and children in Australia.
She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers, including in The Lancet, and has served on multiple WHO technical advisory groups on vaccines and clinical trials. She remains committed to reducing global health inequity through evidence-based policy.

Daisuke Tokita, MD, PhD is Director of the Department of International Trials, Center for Clinical Sciences, at the Japan Institute for Health Security (JIHS) in Tokyo, where his work focuses on international clinical research for infectious disease preparedness and response. He also serves as Secretary General of the Academic Research Organizations Alliance for Southeast & East Asia (ARISE), a regional clinical research network established in 2021.
He earned his medical degree and PhD from Hiroshima University, beginning his career as a general surgeon before completing postdoctoral research in transplant immunology at the University of Pittsburgh. He later worked in pharmaceutical research and development, followed by academic clinical research leadership roles at Niigata University and Tokyo Women's Medical University. Since 2022, he served as Director of the Department of Clinical Research Promotion, Center for Clinical Sciences, at the National Center for Global Health and Medicine, which was subsequently reorganized as JIHS. During this time, he contributed to establishing the Infectious Disease Clinical Research Network with National Repository (iCROWN), a national network supporting infectious disease clinical research in Japan.
His current work centers on strengthening domestic and international clinical research networks and trial readiness for infectious disease preparedness and response.

Sifa Marie Joelle Muchanga MD, PhD is a clinician-scientist and global health research leader with experience in international clinical trials, vaccine-related research, and capacity strengthening across Asia and Africa. She is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Senior Researcher in the Department of International Trials at the Japan Institute for Health Security, where she also serves as the ARISE Secretariat lead.
She earned her medical degree from Kongo University, masters in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of Kinshasa, and a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from Kochi University, Japan. She continues to serve as an Invited Lecturer at Kochi University's Japan Environment and Children's Study (JECS) Unit Center, contributing to this national birth cohort study.
She is a core member of the Harvard Multi-Regional Clinical Trial Center's Joint Task Force for Clinical Trial Competency, and a Fellow of the Japanese Society for Hygiene. She is devoted to advancing women's health and expanding equitable access to medicine, bridging clinical research between Japan and low- and middle-income countries.
